Among the various trekking routes in Nepal, 3 Days Chisapani Trek is the most demanding short and an adventurous easy trek. Chisapani along with Nagarkot are the finest view point for sunrise, sun set and close up view of the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal and Everest Himalaya Range. After enjoying the breakfast at the hotel, we drive an hour towards Sundarijal from where we embark on a real hiking. 30 minutes hiking from Sundarijal we encounter Shivapuri National park where we buy a National park entrance permit then continue ahead. As we climb gradually we arrive at the name of a village called Mulkharka where we might have lunch break or some snacks. Then the trail leads through stone paved stairs and an amazing jungle all the way to Chisapani which is known as a stunning viewpoint of sunrise with striking views of Gaurisankar, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa and many more.
As you know Chisapani is known for its spectacular view point, we recommend waking up early in the morning to explore sunrise with panoramic Himalayas vistas then enjoy your breakfast with beautiful nature. Making our way through refreshing rhododendron forests inside Shivapuri National Park, we might have a quick stop at Jule, and relax for a while. Then we slowly head further passing some local villages, rice field terraces and arrive at a scenic hilltop Nagarkot.
After exploring the sunrise with undisturbed Himalaya range, we trek 4 hrs towards Changu Narayan Temple. The exciting hike starts gradually downhill through the ridge and offers beautiful views of local villages, lifestyle of people, temples, Bhaktapur, Sankhu and Kathmandu valley too. At the last part the trail leads through the pine and Rhododendron forest and some beautiful picnic spots which might be the final opportunity of capturing panoramic Himalaya Vistas surroundings. Ultimately we reach at Changu Narayan which is known as one of the UNESCO world heritage sites and major shrine of Hindu gods Vishnu. After collecting unforgettable experiences we drive back to Kathmandu.
My boyfriend and I recently completed a 3 day trek with Nepal Trekking expert to Chisapani and Nagarkot. Rajesh was super helpful in helping to organise and book this trip for us as well as really professional. The night before the trek we were invited to his office to have a briefing on the trek, what to expect and what to bring and to meet our lovely guide Dinesh. We really appreciated this, and having spoke to other people not every company does this! We had such a great time on the trek, everything was well explained and organised. Dinesh was a fantastic guide, not only was he really knowledgeable on the area and the mountains, answering all our questions, he also made us feel really comfortable and we had fun at the same time! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again with Nepal Trekking experts and especially with Dinesh as our guide and I will recommend to others too!
I had a wonderful time, hiking to Chisipani and Nargakot. My guide, Binod, was kind and supportive and gave me a lot of insight to the local history and culture. Everything was well organized and I did not have to worry about anything while on my adventure. Even before the trek started they were so welcoming and made me feel right at home.
I highly recommend using Nepal Trekking Experts to help you organize any and all kinds of activity during your holiday in Nepal!
While I had a short time in Nepal and was keen to hike, Nepal Trekking Experts offered me 3 days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek. The host Rajesh and my guide Rabin were amazing. The first day of the hike was short but a bit challenging for me but of course worth it. I really enjoyed the lush jungle, massive Kathmandu valley view and reached Chisapani. Chisapani was situated at the hillock and offered stunning views of the Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Gaurishanker and more. The second day was a pleasant hike through some local villages, farming and greenery to Nagarkot. The overnight stay in Nagarkot was welcoming and luxurious. Once again I had a great view with a beautiful sunrise from the roof of the Hotel. Finally we end up our trek to one of the famous Hindu temples Changu Narayan and drive back to Kathmandu.
Overall it was a fabulous experience with NTE. I can not recommend them enough. Hope to see you soon guys!
